All orders you place with Winthrop’s Whimsies are made-to-order, meaning the candy you order today isn’t made until you order it, and then shipped to you the nearest Monday once it’s done, ensuring you get the freshest candy possible, giving you the maximum Joy possible.
Shipping: All orders are shipped via either USPS Parcel Select or (preferably) UPS Ground, with orders going out on Mondays so as to ensure the fastest transit time possible, with no weekend delays sitting in some warehouse!
Delivery (to local areas around Lexington, KY): We deliver all local orders every Monday straight to your door if you live in the Lexington area.
Local Pickup: This is the only exception to our “Mondays rule.” If you select Local Pickup as your shipping option, we will call/text you the moment your order is ready for you to pick it up. Once you arrive at our facility, call us at (859) 287-2853 and we’ll bring your order out to your vehicle!
Note: Local Pickup orders MUST be picked up within 72 hours due to the limited space available in our storage facility! We are NOT responsible for orders that are not picked up within that timeframe!
